The three models in the Khazri family approach the same mission — a strong local AI foundation for Azerbaijani — from different stages of development.
Khazri 2: the flagship
With 250M parameters, Khazri 2 is the current flagship. It targets more advanced tasks with the SYNAPSE architecture and modern attention and activation methods, and is published on Hugging Face.
Khazri 2 Mini: the efficient option
The 100M-parameter Mini is published on Hugging Face for narrow-domain assistants, local services and product integrations that need less compute and lower latency.
Khazri 1: the open beginning
Khazri 1 is the GPT-2-based first generation, openly available on Hugging Face under GPL-3.0. It is far less capable than the new models, but records where the project began for Azerbaijani.
